The site was Initially set up to promote our annual Celebrity Merchandise Auction in 2004, this is the re-launched version.
We are a professional couple of guys who do alot of work for local charities, people and organisations in our area, though we do both work full time in our own day to day jobs. Professionalism, Confidentiality and Respect are 3 key elements that we pride ourselves in, trust is the other, every penny that we raise at our events, goes to the people that we are raising it for, and WE cover ALL the expenses.
If it wasn't for the generous donations of goods and prizes from local businesses, the expenses would be too high, the support and promotions we get from the local press and radio station is invaluable. Though I design and print ALL the posters, tickets etc, without advertising from them the events would not be so successfull.
Craig and myself (Steven), have been together since January 2001, and have been involved in charity events from the start.Prior to getting together we were both involved in charity work from school, having worked with charities such as; Oxfam, Scope and The Sue Ryder Foundation.
We now live in Dumfries, South Scotland with our Old English sheepdog, OzZy, and though we both have full time jobs that pay the bills, we do alot of work now for local charities.Prior to Dumfries, we lived in Blackpool, where we met. There, we were heavily involved in the local Body Positive charity, supporting people and families affected by HIV and AIDS, helping to raise over £16000 in just one year for them.At this time we also organised events to be held at, and to raise money for, the psychiatric day ward, at Devonshire Rd hospital, where we raised in excess of £8000.
This site is still very young, and neither of us are computer whiz kids, but over time we hope to build this site into something special.
