Events Throughout 2003

Throughout 2003, we were very busy with Monthly charity events, aswell as additional events throughout the year.

With some of our first events being held at The Robert The Bruce, Wetherspoons pub in Dumfries. We held our first Celebrity Merchandise Auction being spread over the course of the week, broken down into individual days, raising over £2000 for CLIC which was Wetherspoons chosen charity.

Kids Day: We had a range of donations from Woolworths and The Odeon Cinema, aswell as donations from childrens TV programmes which we auctioned off, and gave out goody bags for games and competitions we put on over the day. We also had face painting for the kids and a colouring competition, Tommy Jardine, local celebrity radio presenter came along and performed the auction.

Beer Nuts Day: We had a number of local brewerys donating goods for raffle and auction, this was put on during the beer festival which was on over the week. We created a wordsearch and quiz for the guys to take part in which also went down well.

Odeon Day; With so much donated from our local Odeon cinema that we had to put on an individual day for them. This included merchandise, standee's and banners. Items donated from celebreties that had been in films was also auctioned off.

Celebrity Day: All other merchandise that we had donated was auctioned off on this day.

Other events we held were a fun 'n' frolics night, and a halloween 'heaven & hell' night.
